Diversion on Route 6

5 February 2026

We wish to advise customers that due to roadworks along the Howth Road and James Larkin Road, Route 6 will be diverted from Monday 16 February until Tuesday 16 June 2026.

As a result, the following diversions will be in place;

Route 6
Towards Howth Station
Normal route.
Towards Abbey St
Normal route to Black Banks, divert via Howth Road and back on to normal route.

Stop 7726 and stop 7728 will not be in use during this time, please proceed to stop 601 Cill Eanna, Raheny or stop 655 Watermill Drive (for Route H2) for your nearest stop location.

Stop 7730 James Larkin Road will not be in use during this time, please proceed to stop 596 Shieling Square, stop 591 Kilbarrack Road or stop 592 Coast Road for your nearest stop location.
